Data Sources

Mailer can read from a variety of different data sources, including Excel and Access sources, and common text files.

For common text files, Mailer includes a very simple built-in spreadsheet editor so that you can view and edit your data directly in Mailer.

With other databases, you should get your database ready before ever starting Mailer.

Let's make a simple "csv" or Comma Separated Value table to use for this mailing.... click on the "use comma separated values" radio button and then click "Next."

Note that your data is not stored in the Mailer settings file. You may have several mailings that use the same data source.
